Dressing Sticks

Sharpen abrasive wheels by pressing these stationary dressing sticks against the wheel while it's rotating. More precise than a cutter dresser, the abrasive on these sticks rubs against the wheel's surface to remove buildup, which sharpens it in the process. Choose coarser grits for an even, smooth finish, and finer grits for a fine, polished finish.

General Purpose for CBN & Diamond Wheels

Best for general purpose use on CBN (cubic boron nitride) and diamond grinding wheels, these dressing sticks are made with aluminum oxide abrasive. Apply the stick firmly to the wheel face and use a grit that is 2 grades finer than the wheel's grit.

High Performance for CBN & Diamond Wheels

The silicon carbide grit of these dressing sticks is finer than the grit of general-use dressing sticks for vitrified wheels, making them perform better on CBN (cubic boron nitride) and diamond grinding wheels. Apply the stick firmly to the wheel face.

Diamond / CBN Grinding Wheels

Diamond Grinding Wheels

General Purpose for Vitrified Wheels

Made of extra-coarse silicon carbide grit, these sticks are sharper than aluminum oxide and are the most popular for sharpening vitrified grinding wheels made with aluminum oxide, silicon carbide, and ceramic abrasive. Apply the stick firmly to the wheel face.

High Performance for Vitrified Wheels

The boron nitride grit of these dressing sticks is hard and long-lasting, making them ideal for cleaning vitrified grinding wheels. They are best for use on cup- and saucer-shaped wheels with a diameter of 10" or smaller. Apply the stick firmly to the wheel face.
