Sanding Sheets

Mount these sheets on sanding blocks and holders for manual sanding or use with sanding pads on power sanders. Choose coarser grits or lower grit numbers for an even, smooth finish, and finer grits or higher grit numbers for a fine, polished finish.

General Purpose

The aluminum-oxide abrasive grit on these sheets provides a balance of toughness and strength, making it the most commonly used abrasive for sanding a variety of materials such as wood, plastics, and fiberglass.

Heavy Backing for Deburring & Cleaning Metal

More tear-resistant than general-use aluminum-oxide sheets, the flexible and long-lasting heavy backing of these sheets holds up under pressure during deburring, stock removal, and rust removal.

Wet Sanding

The sheet backing has water-resistant properties and the sharp silicon-carbide abrasive grit is able to sand with water or between primer coats or other finishes on wood and metal.

For Dry Sanding Painted or Varnished Wood

The sanding sheet's abrasive particles are spaced across the surface to resist clogging during dry sanding of painted or varnished wood. The backing is flexible and is reinforced with latex. Silicon carbide abrasive is sharper and faster cutting than general-purpose aluminum oxide.

Garnet for Finishing Soft & Bare Wood

Garnet abrasive is one of the few natural options that provides a smooth finish on wood without leaving scratch marks. It is softer than general-use aluminum oxide for use on soft or bare wood.
