Avoid costly, time-consuming cleanup by using sand bags and barriers to protect your facility and equipment from flood damage. Stack and position them to configure a barrier to control and divert floodwater. They are ideal for flood-prone areas and storm preparation efforts.
Sand bags are made from lightweight materials to provide a cost-effective way to fortify areas and weigh down equipment. They can be carried to sites and filled with local sand to make temporary barriers for controlling floodwater, minimizing erosion, and directing traffic flow or to weigh down tarps, traffic barricades, and construction signs.

Water-Activated Flood Barriers
The absorbent, nontoxic powder within these barriers soaks up water and forms a gel that fills the barrier so there's no need for sand. Also known as flood bags or sandless sand bags, they are for use indoors and out and can be left in place for long-term protection. Once floodwaters recede, the barriers will dry out over time for convenient storage or disposal. They are not compatible with salt water, calcium, lime, or chlorine, which will react with the powder and release the absorbed water.
