Single-To-Three Phase Converters

If you need to operate three-phase equipment such as asynchronous motors at a site that only has single-phase power available, use one of these single-to-three phase converters.

Run three-phase motors such as those used in drill presses and milling machines at approximately two-thirds rated horsepower. Static phase converters do not continuously generate three-phase power. They start the motor and then run it on single-phase power.

Any machinery that has circuitry requiring continuous three-phase power, including electronic motor drives, heating equipment, and welders, should not be used with these converters, as the equipment can be damaged.

Note: Not recommended for use in damp or wet locations. The largest motor on your machine must fall within the minimum and maximum ranges of the converter.
