Combination Pliers

Also known as lineman's pliers, combination pliers have surfaces for both gripping and cutting wire, screws, nails, and bolts. The inside of the jaws has a flat, serrated surface for strong gripping, while the cutting edge close to the pivot point of the jaws can strip and cut. The outer surface of the tapered nose can be used to ream pipe, conduit, or knockouts in an electrical enclosure.

Bent Handle

Also known as ironworker's pliers, these combinations pliers have bent or hooked handles that prevent the tool from slipping out of your grasp. Commonly used for tying and cutting wire, bolts, and soft annealed rebar tie wire, these tools have long handles and a pivot point close to the fulcrum of the cutting jaws to provide good leverage for cutting tough materials.
