Use liner drill bushings (L) with removable slip-fixed (SF) bushings to help ensure accurate drilling. Liner drill bushings are installed in the jig to ease replacement of bushing when they become worn or damaged. Bushings help ensure accurate hole placement and prevent damage to jigs and fixtures. Because they don't have a head, these liner bushings can be placed closer together than headed bushing liners. Bushings are used to guide drill bits, reamers, countersinks, and counterbores.
Bushings with standard wall thickness are used for most common applications.
