Lifting Magnets

Lifting Magnets

Position, move, and sort magnetic steel items such as metal sheets, bars, castings, or smaller bulk items with minimal effort. These permanent magnets don't require power to attach to the item being lifted, so they won't release the item being lifted due to power failure and they can be used where electricity isn't readily accessible. Magnets have top lifting points for powered or manual lifting applications. Capacities listed may be dependent upon material, thickness, and contact surfaces of the item being moved.

Light Duty

Light Duty

Also known as retrieving magnets, these magnets are great for picking up ferrous materials such as dropped tools and parts, shavings, and raw materials as well as other light duty tasks, including retrieving items dropped in water. Magnets come with an eyebolt and nuts to use as an attachment point to suspend the magnet.

Ceramic Magnets with Manual Release

With Roller Lever Release

With Roller Lever Release

Position or move large, flat items made of ferrous materials, such as metal plates or large parts. Also called plate lifters, these ceramic magnets have a top attachment point to hook onto a hoist, crane, or lifting device, and they release the object being lifted by pushing down on the handle. They can be operated by one person and may be used in place of clamps in certain situations.

Note: The number of magnets needed will depend on the length and thickness of the material being moved.

With On/Off Lever

Easily engage or remove these magnets from the object being lifted using the on/off lever that interrupts the magnetic force. These strong magnets, also known as plate lifters, are a good choice for lifting non-flexing steel objects and can be used on flat or round surfaces. The on/off lever has a locking device that ensures the magnet is fully open for a secure hold or fully shielded for added safety.

Note: The number of magnets needed will depend on the length and thickness of the material being moved.
