Stronger and more durable than web slings, round slings have a core made of continuous polyester fibers that is typically stronger than woven webbing, and a protective nylon cover that provides resistance to abrasion and UV rays. These slings are lightweight, flexible, and can conform to different loads, making them a good choice for use in basket, vertical, or choker configurations. Slings are color coded and have a tag displaying load capacity and material construction to help avoid misidentification.
Configured in a single open loop, the load contact points on these slings can be shifted, helping to reduce wear. They are especially useful for gentle lifting of fragile loads.
Eye & Eye
With preconfigured eyes on each end, these slings can be easily used in different hitch configurations or with fittings. Use these round slings when loads may cause abrasion to the sling.
