Add a spring latch to your hook to help keep slings, fittings, and other assemblies securely attached during pulling and lifting operations. Also known as safety catches, the spring-loaded latch pivots away to allow fittings to slide on to the hook and then snaps shut to close the throat of the hook to help prevent fittings from slipping off when there is slack on the line.
For slip hooks that have a pinhole mount, add these latches to your hook to help keep your lifting assemblies secure.
Zinc Plated Steel
Choose a compatible clamp-on latch for hooks that do not have a pinhole mount. These latches install quickly using just finger lugs and a male hex driver.
