Wire Rope End Fittings

Attach these fittings onto the ends of wire rope to create a variety of terminations and attachment points for tensioning and architectural applications such as wire rope railings. These fittings should not be used in overhead lifting applications or for lifting personnel.

Ball Fittings

Terminate a wire rope with these ball fittings that help keep wire rope ends from fraying, as well as provide an end stop for moving rope. Fittings must be swaged onto rope ends with specialized swaging equipment to provide the appropriate holding power.

Provide an attachment point at the end of a wire rope that connects to other attachment points with fasteners such as pins. These fittings are commonly used in marine and architectural applications for wire rope barriers and railings. Create a threaded end on your wire rope for adding other fittings or a nut with these studs. Choose partially threaded studs, referred to as locking studs or turnbuckle studs, for use in turnbuckle assemblies. Fittings must be swaged onto rope ends with specialized swaging equipment to provide the appropriate holding power.

Mounting Plate Fittings

Commonly used in light duty riggings such as steel railing assemblies, these fittings have a mounting plate that screws onto a flat surface, and a pivot point that moves forward and back to provide the correct angle for your application. They are also referred to as deck toggle fittings. Attach these fittings with a compatible hand-crimping tool.
