Insert Ball Bearing Units

When the current ball bearing insert in your mounted bearing unit becomes worn or damaged, replace it with one of these ball bearing inserts to extend the life of your bearing unit without replacing the entire unit. Choose a bearing insert with the same manufacturer model number as your current mounted bearing unit.

Spherical with Set-Screw Mount

These units have a spherical ring that can accommodate static misalignment of the shaft, which helps extend the life of the bearing. They easily attach to the shaft with a set screw.

Spherical with Self-Locking Collar

Save yourself a step with the self-locking collar of these units, which keeps the shaft in place without needing locknuts, sleeves, or adapters. The spherical ring in the opening of these units accommodates static misalignment of the shaft, helping to extend the life of the bearing.

Straight with Set-Screw Mount

The straight opening of these bearings supports the shaft and provides extra stability, making them a good choice in applications where vibration or shock loading is a factor. They easily attach to the shaft with a set screw.

With Retaining Ring

Use bearings with a retaining ring when you need more stability than standard ball-bearing units provide, such as in applications where the bearing unit is exposed to vibration or high-operating speeds. The ring also helps to accurately space the balls in the bearing, reducing wear and extending the life of the bearing.
