One-Piece Clamp-On Shaft Collars

One-Piece Clamp-On Shaft Collars

Also known as single-split shaft collars, these unthreaded one-piece clamp-on shaft collars slide onto a shaft and do not require set screws to hold the collar in place, making them less likely to damage the shaft than set-screw shaft collars.

The clamp-on design evenly distributes the gripping force around the shaft for a more secure hold than set-screw collars and makes it easier to fine-tune the shaft collar's position. You may have to remove other components on the shaft before installing or removing the shaft collar.

General Purpose Steel

Steel shaft collars provide good strength and hardness and are the most common choice for a wide range of applications where corrosion is not a concern.

Washdown Acetal

Ideal for applications where equipment will be washed down frequently, such as food-and-beverage processing equipment, acetal shaft collars will not rust or corrode when exposed to water. They are nonmagnetic.

Lightweight Aluminum

Lightweight aluminum shaft collars provide good corrosion resistance and help keep inertia low in applications where the rotational speed of the drive system will vary. They are nonmagnetic.
