Parabolic-Tooth Timing Belt Pulleys

Parabolic-Tooth Timing Belt Pulleys

The curved grooves on these timing belt pulleys, sometimes referred to as R- or RPP-type, have a dimple to accommodate parabolic-tooth timing belts, maximizing surface contact between the belt teeth and pulley for good power transmission with minimal noise and slippage. Bushed-bore pulleys connect to a drive shaft with a bushing. When replacing a belt on a pulley, make sure the style (or series), pitch, and width of the belt are compatible with the pulley.

8GTR Series (8mm Pitch) with Bushed Bore

8GTR Series (8mm Pitch) with Bushed Bore

Designed for high-efficiency drive systems, the 8GTR series can handle high horsepower and low torque. With an 8 mm pitch, these pulleys are ideal for use on a wide variety of applications, require minimal maintenance, and are quieter than most chain systems. They can be used with an idler if needed, which allows for more application uses.

14GTR Series (14mm Pitch) with Bushed Bore

14GTR Series (14mm Pitch) with Bushed Bore

Similar to the 8GTR series, these timing belts have a 14 mm pitch to handle heavy duty applications. They are designed for high-efficiency drive systems, and can handle high horsepower and low torque. These pulleys are often used in heavier duty applications than 8 mm pitch pulleys. They require minimal maintenance, and are quieter than most chain systems. Use these pulleys with an idler if needed to gain more application uses.
