Screw Jacks

Attach one or more screw jacks to a motor to help lift, hold, and position heavy loads. They have a worm gear drive that provides smooth, precise movement of the threaded shaft as it's turned to create linear movement.

High-Efficiency Upright Ball Screw Jacks

Ball screw jacks move loads faster and more efficiently than ACME screw jacks and are recommended for applications with moderate to high duty cycles. The screw exits the jack on the same side as the mounting plate on these upright jacks. To extend the lifting screw, rotate the right input shaft in a counterclockwise direction or rotate the left input shaft in a clockwise direction. A brake motor is required to hold the screw in position when stopped.

High-Efficiency Inverted Ball Screw Jacks

These ball screw jacks move loads faster and more efficiently than ACME screw jacks and are recommended for applications with moderate to high duty cycles. The screw exits the jack on the opposite side of the mounting plate on these inverted jacks. To extend the lifting screw, rotate the right input shaft in a clockwise direction or rotate the left input shaft in a counterclockwise direction. A brake motor is required to hold the screw in position when stopped.

Anti-Backlash Upright ACME Screw Jacks

Self-locking ACME screw jacks produce less vibration than ball screw jacks and do not require a braking mechanism to hold the screw in place when stopped, making them ideal for applications where backlash is a concern. They are recommended for applications with low to moderate duty cycles and moderate speeds. The screw exits the jack on the same side as the mounting plate on these upright jacks. To extend the lifting screw, rotate the right input shaft in a counterclockwise direction or rotate the left input shaft in a clockwise direction.
