Tapped Linkages

Tapped Linkages

These tapped linkages consist of a female-threaded rod end with an attached stud. They mount to moving components with male-threaded ends. They have a housing with a spherical bearing that allows the load to rotate in two directions to accommodate angular misalignment in equipment such as carburetors, shifters, and throttles.

General Purpose Steel

Durable steel linkages provide good strength and hardness in a wide range of applications where corrosion is not a concern. They can typically handle heavier loads than stainless steel rod ends.

Steel with Self-Lubricating PTFE Race

The bearings in these linkages have a PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) race that provides good wear resistance, absorbs shocks and vibrations, and eliminates the need for lubricating the bearing. The linkages are made from durable steel, which provides good strength and hardness in a wide range of applications where corrosion is not a concern.

Corrosion-Resistant Stainless Steel with Self-Lubricating PTFE Race

Made from corrosion-resistant stainless steel, these rod ends perform better than steel rod ends in environments where corrosive elements may be present. They have a PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) race that provides good wear resistance, absorbs shocks and vibrations, and eliminates the need for lubricating the bearing.
