Speed up belt changes with these twisted O-ring round belts, which can be installed and removed without dismantling the drive system, avoiding costly downtime. They have a twisted shape that forms loops along the length of the belt. To install, they are stretched over pulleys and the loops at the ends of the belt are joined with a hook-style connector. Twisted O-ring round belts are commonly used on conveying equipment with live rollers.
Twisted O-ring belts can be used on V- or round-belt pulleys. When matching a belt to a pulley, make sure the diameter of the belt is compatible with the pulley. Also note that the belt will need to be stretched approximately 17 percent to its final length.
