Used in a wide variety of industries, from automotive to architectural to medical, stainless steel is highly corrosion resistant. It is available in many grades that provide additional beneficial properties, such as heat and chemical resistance.
Grade 302 Stainless Steel Spheres
Slightly stronger and harder than 304 stainless steel, 302 stainless steel is used in making wire and fasteners as well as in sanitary and industrial applications.
Grade 316 Stainless Steel Spheres
Also called marine grade stainless steel, 316 stainless steel is more corrosion resistant and has a higher yield strength than 304 and 302 stainless steels. It is often used in corrosive environments.
Grade 440C Stainless Steel Spheres
Compared to other stainless steel grades, Grade 440C is extremely hard but is not as corrosion resistant. It is most often used to make products that require hardness, such as bearings and knife blades.
