Brazing Rods

Brazing Rods

Use these rods in brazing applications to provide the filler metal for making a strong joint. Once the base material has been heated with the brazing torch, the rod is touched to the joint, and it melts and flows into the joint to fill it.

Brazing is a process of heating two adjacent metal workpieces and applying filler material to the space between them to create a strong joint. It does not melt the workpiece, as in welding, and it requires higher temperatures, creating a stronger joint than soldering. Brazing can be used to join workpieces of the same or different materials, but they must be close together.
