MIG Welders

Connect a metal inert gas (MIG) welding gun to these welding machines to power the gun and provide shielding gas to keep contaminants out of the weld. The machine's duty cycle rating states how long the machine can weld continuously at peak current before requiring time to cool down, given as a percentage of a 10-minute cycle. For example, a machine with a 30% duty rating can weld continuously at peak current for 3 minutes in a 10-minute cycle before needing to cool down.

MIG welding is typically faster and cleaner than stick welding and is ideal for welding large workpieces in manufacturing, automotive, and metalworking applications. Also known as wire feed, metal active gas (MAG), or gas metal arc welding (GMAW).
