Do I need to have a Gamut account to place an order?
No, but an account is useful. A Gamut account allows you to view your order history, track shipments, check out faster, and if you’re a qualified business, establish Net 30 payment terms. You’ll also be among the first to hear about industry promotions and other cool things. It takes just a minute to set one up here.
Are you going to send me a bunch of emails?

Can I place an order over the phone?

What are my payment options?
Pay with Visa, MasterCard, or American Express. Your business may qualify for Net 30 payment terms. Check with Gamut Customer Service for more details.
When do you charge my credit card?
Items are billed to your credit card when they are shipped. We stock the full gamut of items sold, so 9 times out of 10, this is all at once. But things do happen. If we run out of stock on an item, it will be shipped and charged separately from the main order as soon as it’s available.
How do I use my tax exempt status?
The government wants proof, so we’ll need you to give us a copy of your state resale certificate, exemption certificate, or alternate form of proof for the state where the items will be shipped. Here’s how to submit.
Can I include a PO number with my order?
Sure thing. Just enter it when you submit your order.
How does shipping work?
Gamut accepts orders for shipment in the U.S. Every detail of our shipping policy is here, but here are the basics for standard ground shipping:
- There’s a $4.99 fee if your order is for less than $99 (before tax).
- Shipping is free if your order is $99 or more (before tax).
In a hurry? You can request expedited shipping, which is calculated at checkout.
Will you ship on the same day I order?
Yes indeed, provided we receive your order before 3pm Central Time, Mon-Fri.
How long will it take to get my stuff?
The items we stock ship within one business day. Same day if you order before 3pm Central Time, Mon-Fri. Items that ship directly from the manufacturer may take more time, but you’ll get an expected delivery date.

How do I return something?

Here’s how it works:
- Did you get your item less than 30 days ago? If so, you’ll get a refund or a replacement.
- Did you receive something damaged or defective? Did you get it less than a year ago? If so, you’ll get a refund or a replacement.
- Beyond a year? We aim to please, but at this point you’ll have to call the manufacturer.

Sorry about that—we’ll make it right. Just contact Gamut Customer Service to request a new item or to process a refund.
Is there a warranty on Gamut products?
You bet. Gamut warrants any item that you purchase for use in business or resale against defects in workmanship under normal use for a period of one year from the date of purchase. If a thing you bought is defective, we need to get the thing back. Please contact Gamut Customer Service. We’ll prepay the shipping and replace, refund, or provide info on a specific manufacturer’s warranty (if this is what’s warranted).

We made them. Our product illustrations are designed to focus on the information-rich detail you need to find exactly the right product. They are developed by Gamut’s team of CGI (computer graphics imaging) experts. Our folks have worked on Hollywood animated films and might give autographs if you ask nicely.
