Carbide tipped tools offer the strength and wear resistance of carbide steel on just the cutting edge. Choose between fast spiral bits for drilling into softer or more brittle materials such as block and brick, slow spiral bits for drilling into harder surfaces such as concrete, or regular spiral bits for drilling into a wide range of materials. The bits may have 2, 3, or 4 cutting edges at the tip. Drills with more cutting edges produce less vibration than drills with fewer cutting edges and offer better drilling performance and hole quality in harder materials.
