About Pulley Blocks & Sheaves
Assemble a complete pulley system by combining a pulley block or sheave with a cable or wire rope to reduce manual effort and allow for direction changes when lifting loads. They can be suspended from hooks or permanently mounted for use with manual or automatic lifting and pulling equipment such as hoists and winches. Add additional pulleys to your lifting system for more precise control over load movement and greater reduction of force needed for lifting.
Note: The angle of the rope through the pulley affects the capacity of the system. Pulley blocks and sheaves should not be used for overhead lifting or for lifting personnel.
Replace worn or broken sheaves in your pulley block systems, or keep extra compatible sheaves on hand for quick change outs.
