About Threaded Low-Lead Red Brass Pipe Fittings

Commonly used to modify plumbing pipe systems carrying drinking water, these low-lead red brass pipe fittings are certified for use in potable (drinking) water applications. Red brass offers better durability and more corrosion resistance to materials such as water, saltwater, heat, minerals, and heavy soils than yellow brass. They are also a good choice for pipe systems that carry natural gas, air, and steam.

Combine, change, or divide the flow of materials through pipes with the same diameter using these tee fittings. The middle port is set at a 90° angle to the connections on either end. They have three female threaded ports that accept male threaded pipe ends and fittings.
