About Chain, Cable, & Rope Hooks
Used as a component in most lifting or pulling applications, these versatile hooks can be used to connect loads to a lifting or pulling device (such as a hoist or sling), to suspend lifting devices from a support structure, and as a connection point. Attach the hooks to chain, cable, or rope, and use them to connect to the load you need to move.
Note: For safe rigging applications, the hook must match or exceed the grade of the chain used in the rigging.
Keep rigging, slings, and other lifting assemblies securely on your hook if the line becomes slack using these safety-latch hooks. Similar to general purpose slip hooks, they have a large throat that allows chain and wire rope to slide through easily without binding, and can connect to large anchors.
