About This Product
This Steel Hex Cap Screw is constructed of steel, which is a magnetic material that provides strength for everyday fastening applications. It has a zinc flake coated finish, which is created by bonding zinc and aluminum flakes to a material to provide corrosion resistance. It also has a Grade 8 material grade and a 3/4"-10 thread size. It has a 4 1/2 in shank length. This steel hex cap screw is partially threaded, which is a shaft style where the thread runs from the tip of the fastener to the unthreaded portion, known as the grip length, to provide better alignment and excellent shear resistance to provide enough force to hold objects in place. It has a 1 3/4 in minimum thread length. Sold individually.
