About Well Pumps & Well Pump Heads

These submersible pumps sit at depths where water tables are found to draw in water and push it up to supply tanks. Water pressure helps move water into these pumps, making them more energy efficient than jet pumps. They're typically used for residential water supplies and irrigation applications.

Simplify installation and get a soft startup that minimizes wear on pump components with 2-wire pumps. These all-in-one units consist of a pump head and a motor with an internal starter, so the wiring is simpler and there's no need to install a separate above-ground control panel as with 3-wire pumps. Starting components are sealed within the housing to reduce the potential for failure. The entire pump must be lifted to ground level for maintenance.
