About Hoist Rings

Thread, bolt, or weld these hoist rings onto loads to provide a secure attachment point for pulling and lifting. They are often used in conjunction with shackles or hooks in construction, power generation, and manufacturing applications.

Note: A ring's listed capacity is for vertical lifts only and must be adjusted for angled lifts. Rings should never be used at a lifting angle of less than 30°.

For loads that pitch and sway, these hoist rings, also called safety-engineered hoist rings, have a base that swivels 360°. Their lifting ring also pivots front-to-back 180° to compensate for lifting loads at an angle with less stress than hoist rings with rigid eyes. These devices can be threaded into tapped holes on the top or sides of the object to be hoisted.
